(1) Characteristics:
① Overall or local deformation;
② The geometrical shape of the casting does not match the drawing.
(2) Causes of occurrence:
① Poor design of the casting structure;
② The ejection time is too early, resulting in insufficient rigidity of the casting;
③ The setting of the ejector pin is improper, causing uneven force during ejection;
④ The position or thickness of the main gate is inappropriate, making the casting prone to deformation when the main gate is removed;
⑤ Local surface of the mold is rough, resulting in high ejection resistance;
⑥ Local temperature of the mold is too high, and the product is not fully cured, leading to deformation when the main gate is removed due to the large force during ejection.
